16 days till the end of this project. Think I'm excited? Sure am...While it has been good practice taking and posting shots every day, it really is time consuming. I have been more focused on getting the shot up and thinking of something witty to say, as opposed to concentrating on my craft. So in 2012 I'll be concentrating on my business, and skillset, and will post when I have something to share. Maybe every other week. Maybe once a week. Who knows? Maybe it will still be every day. But I won't have the pressure to post just for the sake of my of self-imposed deadlines. But I have learned a lot this year, and made some really great images. The business is taking off and I'm quite proud of myself. I've made a lot of people smile, including myself. And that's what it's all about. So without further ado, here are some shots of ice on the stream behind my house. I was walking out to the shed putting some tools away. Worn out from working on the gutters. And out of the corner of my eye, I saw this ice encrusted on the stream. The sun was just hitting it right, so I dropped my tools and ran for the house to get my camera.
Same shot, zoomed in.
Superman's Fortress of Solitude
Doesn't take much to thrill me, huh? Kind of makes me look forward to winter. (Did I say that?) Trying to think positive about the upcoming snow and sleet and sub-zero temps.
Well I pulled the decorations out last night. And started the Christmas card project. Hope to finish both decorating and cards tonite. Wish me luck!
Em
